For anyone who wants to see 'Man With A Movie Camera' , here is the youtube video. it is part 1 of 9. I watched a bit of it, and I guess for 1929 its cool- but I don't think I understand enough about film to understand this, 'cinematic masterpiece' . . . .

thanks for adding this to our blog. It's hard to relate to these early films, given our very sophisticated experience with audiovisual media, but this goes back to a time when many of the techniques we take for granted in the moving image were first being developed and evolving. What is also significant is the self-reflexiveness involved in making a moving about making movies.
